Shuttle Bus Service - Sponsorship: $25,000

Attendees appreciate the service to travel from their hotels to the Baltimore Convention Center via shuttle bus. As a sponsor of this highly demanded service, your company will be recognized via signage inside the shuttle bus displaying your company’s name and booth number.

Trainee Day Program - Sponsorship: $25,000

This one-day educational program includes a general session, small group workshops, career fair and closing reception. The program promotes the education of students, residents and fellows specializing in the field of sleep disorders medicine and/or sleep disorders research. It also offers a venue where students are encouraged to interact with leaders in the field. Your company name/logo will be highlighted on signage throughout the day. The Trainee Day Program is held on Sunday, June 8, 2008.

Welcome Slides - Sponsorship: $25,000

Welcome the attendees to each session with your logo on an informational slide show. Four to six informational slides will be running in-between sessions throughout the duration of the meeting. Slides include helpful reminders and tips for attendees. Sponsorship includes company name and logo on each slide.

Cyber Cafe - Sponsorship: $5,000 for each station or $25,000 for all six stations

Attendees who want information about what’s happening at home or at the office while they’re away will find the answer when they check their e-mail on one of six computer stations at the café. A total of six computer stations are available and located near the registration area and the exhibit hall. Each station will exhibit your corporate name and logo or display your screen saver. The cyber café is open from Saturday, June 7 through Wednesday, June 11, 2008.

PDA Meeting Guide and Beaming Station - Sponsorship: $25,000

Provide attendees the opportunity to make a personalized itinerary for SLEEP 2008. The PDA Meeting Guide and Beaming Station will allow our meeting attendees to download the SLEEP 2008 Final Program to their PDA device before the meeting via our Web site and at the meeting via a Beaming Station. Attendees will be able to search presentations and scientific sessions, preview the details online, and schedule those lectures of interest to their PDA device. Your company’s name and logo will appear on the Web site, signage and touch-screen of the Beaming Station.

Pocket Program - Sponsorship: $25,000

This pocket sized program offers attendees a quick and easy reference to the scientific programming of the meeting. Your company will have the opportunity to place advertisements in the front inside cover, back outside cover, and a 2-page spread in the middle of the 16-page program. A city map accompanied by city information will also be included in the program for attendees’ reference.

Industry Supported Event - Sponsorship:
$12,000 for morning satellite symposium
$20,000 for evening satellite symposium
$30,000 for one (1) morning and one (1) evening satellite symposia

Provide meeting attendees with an informative, two to three hour evening satellite symposium, coordinated by your company. Morning Symposia will be permitted Monday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 11 from 6:15am – 7:45am. Evening symposia will be permitted Saturday, June 8 and Monday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 11 from 6:15pm – 9:15pm. To participate, an Industry Supported Event proposal must be submitted for acceptance. The date of the symposium will be determined in cooperation with the APSS Program Committee. Available space for symposia is limited and submitted requests will be reviewed on a firstcome, first-served basis. Additional expenses, such as catering, room rental, audio visual, etc., are the responsibility of the sponsor.

Hotel TV Channel - Sponsorship: $15,000

Get your message to everyone staying at the SLEEP 2008 coheadquarter hotels. While attendees are in their rooms, your commercial will be playing continuously (pending approval) on your own dedicated TV channel.

Housing Web Site Advertisement - Sponsorship: $15,000

The SLEEP 2008 Housing Bureau Web site is accessed by the majority of meeting attendees. Highlight your company’s involvement in the meeting by placing your company’s full name and logo on one of four digital images, displaying engaging photographs relevant to Baltimore and SLEEP 2008 on the home page of the SLEEP 2008 Housing Bureau Web site. Your company information will be displayed on the housing bureau’s home page for five months, beginning in January 2008.

Registration Kick Panels - Sponsorship: $3,000 per panel

Upon arrival, attendees pick up their materials at the registration counters prior to admittance into the meeting and exhibit hall. Our attractive registration area will include your company name and logo on the front kick panels, where it is sure to be noticed by approximately 6,000 sleep medicine professionals. There are eight panels available for display (approx. 77”x 28” each).

Course Coffee Breaks - Sponsorship: $3,000 for both days

Course participants appreciate coffee service, complete with your corporate name and logo appearing on signage near the coffee service area. Your company will be allowed a table-top display in the course area during the breaks. This sponsorship opportunity is available in the morning and afternoon of postgraduate course days, Saturday, June 7 and Sunday, June 8. Literature relevant to your company’s products may also be dispersed during the breaks.

Speaker Ready Room - Sponsorship: $2,500

Speakers at the meeting take advantage of a room designated for them to prepare for their presentation. While preparing and relaxing, a beverage station is available for their convenience. Sponsorship includes a company name/logo screensaver and the company’s logo on the reminder cards given to each speaker upon check-in. Signage outside the room is also included.

"Sleeping" Bag Inserts - Sponsorship: $1,000

Include an informational insert or promotional item within the SLEEP 2008 “Sleeping” Bag. A total of 2,000 stuffed bags will be distributed to the attendees at the contracted hotels. Exhibiting companies may include one-page, double sided ads, no larger than 8 ½’ x 11’ or a novelty item. All ads/giveaways must be submitted in advance for approval from APSS management by Friday, April 4, 2008. Sponsors must provide 2,000 copies/items of submission no later than Monday, April 28, 2008. A minimum of 10 participants is necessary or payment will be refunded.

For Our Sponsors...

In addition to the name recognition mentioned, each sponsor will receive acknowledgement in the SLEEP 2008 Final Program provided commitment to the sponsorship is received prior to March 28, 2008. Companies with sponsorships totaling more than $20,000 by February 15, 2008, are allowed to include a one-page, four-color ad in the Final Program at 25% off the ad rates. All advertising space and premium spots will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, and final placement will be at the discretion of the APSS. To ensure adequate recognition and appreciation for your contribution, various sponsorships will have deadlines imposed. Please contact the APSS Meeting Department to inquire about these dates.

After a sponsorship application form is submitted, a sponsorship agreement outlining the terms and conditions will be issued and will require a signature.
